Default Alltrax controller needing speed sensor?

OK, I have another question about my new Alltrax controller. I have an 02 TXT with PDS. I got a DCX300 Alltrax controller and there appears to be no place for the speed sensor to plug in to. Do I just let this cable dangle?

We tell all of our customers that when they order and again in our custom install instructions By the way - don't let it dangle - roll it up and zip tie it to the frame up high and out of the way.
