Default 98 ezgo solenoid no click

98 dcs/sepex ezgo, I parked it last week after hunting, and plugged in to charge, now I have no click from solenoid, I have 36.8 at the batteries and also 36.8 on both sides of solenoid, the 2 small solenoid terminals show 7.0 without pedal depressed and both go to 4.6 when pedal is pressed. I have checked and the reed swith is showing 36v out of the white wire, I can hear the swith under floor clicking when I press pedal. It just acts like the key isn't turned on, as I said it was fine last time I drove it? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to BGW!

Your batter needs to be charged, it is only 60% SoC (See attached chart), but the solenoid should still click.

With the Run/Tow in Run, Keyswitch ON and either F or R selected, and the pedal NOT pressed. you should have full battery pack voltage on both sides of the solenoid coil.

The voltage source is the Reed switch and the circuit that feeds the coil is highlighted on the attached schematic.
Bad Reed, Run/Tow/ F/R or Key switch, or the wires connecting them in series.

Thanks Johnnie, after I typed the thread I got to looking at my last sentence, (it acted like the key wasn't on) so I removed switch to do some checking, apparently it was a bad connection at key switch, after removing and checking voltage etc, when I wired it back up, it works now!! Thanks for your reply, this site is great thanks to people like you.
