LED vs regular rear lights
I have the "stock" rear lights on my cart and curious if anyone has swapped to the LED set ups? Are they alot brighter or pretty close? Our city has just passed ordinance allowing carts on most streets and I want them to be seen as much as possible, because I will be a cart drivin gool now!

Re: LED vs regular rear lights
sleepyluke, yes the LED's are a bit brighter than standard bulbs. They typically don't drain a battery as fast as standard lights do and last a lot longer than standard bulbs do. Hope this helps.

What led bulbs are you using? And are you using led in the headlights?
I have the ezgo bar headlight. Is there a simple bulb replacement? |

Re: LED vs regular rear lights
I believe they offer the light bar in LED for the EZGO's now . When I had mine I went with HID's in the light bar (pictured below) . BIG difference and cheaper than LED . I also put them in my new Yamaha Drive build - Mayor

Re: LED vs regular rear lights
Ok, some dumb questions, but I've never messed with the lighting on my cart. So what type of bulb is in the bar? and what led bulb in the tail light? Is it custom fit or plug n play?

Re: LED vs regular rear lights
These LED rear lights are pretty common now. It's the whole taillight minus the bezel, not just a bulb upgrade in the old lens. They are very bright.

Re: LED vs regular rear lights
I love the new LED stuff for tail, stop, turn, side marker, ya-da, ya-da/what ever. but I use 55 watt halogen juice suckers to see where I'm going. Wired across 2 8 volt batteries, they make me happy, happy, happy. Love night riding through the woods.
