PDS or Regular?
which one is better to upgrade to 48 volt? the PDS or the regular. i have a 2004 ezgo txt regular and was wondering if i should trade it in for a PDS, im going to end up hunting with it so a lift, 48v, and possibly a new controller for more torque, and then maybe a new motor in the end..possibly the emp 2 speed motor for torque and then speed...

Re: PDS or Regular?
Either way you go, a 48v upgrade will REQUIRE a new controller. Also, the EMP 2/speed is for series carts only. They can give you a torque motor or a speed motor for the PDS carts.

Re: PDS or Regular?
ok, well do you know if the 2-speed motor will have as much torque in low as an all torque motor will have?

Re: PDS or Regular?
No, that is something EMP would need to tell you. Give them a call, or try their email. They do answer customer questions directly.
