Default occasionally will not move. 2004 TXT

I have a 2004 ezgo TXT sepex that will occasionally not move when the gas peddle is depressed. If i push it several times it will finally move. About a week earlier, it started loosing power going up a steep hill. One day it was fine then the next it lost power. Batteries are 2-3 years old.
Thanks in advance for anyones help POP

Sounds like two problems.

Having to push pedal more than once to get cart moving, sound like a gummed up pedal microswitch, or one with a weak spring closing the NC contacts.

Loosing power on hills could be battery issues, or high current cable issues, or it could be some other things.

What is the At-Rest pack voltage and what is the pack voltage going up the hill?
