Evicted a mouse......
First day in a very long time I could actually get out and accomplish a few things, before the next big snow storm comes tomorrow. I was checking and filling my batteries and was about to put the seat back on, when I realized there was a huge mouse nest under the controller box and F/R thingamabob. I poked it and a cute little guy ran out. I'm glad I saw it before he/she had 10 babies in there in the spring.
Had some in the front 2 years ago, and they chewed up all the wiring. Nothing seemed chewed on this time, fortunately. I cleaned it out and put several scented dryer sheets in there. They work GREAT at keeping mice out of places you don't want them. Is there a problem with them catching fire for some reason in there? Thanks. |

Probably no more fire hazard than a mouse nest.

I had a squirrel get into and made a home inside the engine cowl on my bass boat. Caused $700.00 worth of damage to wires and ignition components. He met an untimely end when I got him out.

Re: Evicted a mouse......
Worked on a 2007 Trailblazer for a single lady my Mom works with, she wanted me to clean it up inside and out for her too while I had it, so in the process of cleaning the inside I found her registration. When I went to put it in the glovebox I found a mouse nest made from the pocket pack of tissues she had stored in there. Gotta love mice...

Re: Evicted a mouse......
had a mouse in my 5th wheel . found signs of him in the kitchen leading to the large compartment outside . he was eating my paper towel and started to build a nest. set a snap trap on the top of my tool box in the compartment and that was the end of him the next night .
