Confused with TXT PDS
Hey guys so a cart came in the other day and it runs intermittently.. They said it would drive fine, then stop. But after it sat for a little while it would run fine. My first guess was the batteries and sure enough one battery was at 2.7V while the others were at 5.9V.. *This was during a load test*
So I replaced the batteries, looked over everything to make sure no loose or broken wires and it all checked out. Well brought it back to them and sure enough the dang thing won't run. The reverse buzzer is also intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt work but still runs.. When I do the diagnostic check nothing comes up. But while messing with it today I got it to die again. When i hold the pedal down while dead it beeps 3-1. but when i let off and press again it runs fine. Any ideas?? Very frustrated. Thanks! Re: Confused with TXT PDS
Well, the ignition switch looks OK? A1 and A2 look OK where they bolt to the motor?

Re: Confused with TXT PDS
Yeah ignition switch is fine. A1 And A2 are okay. Not loose nor are they broken, melted, etc.
I do have power to both the blue and the yellow wire on the small posts on the solenoid. I thought that one was positive and one was negative? Is that right?? |

Hmmmmmmm. I am out of ideas......
LOL, but that's not unusual! You have checked the controller to pedal box connector that always fouls? Sorry to ask twice! |

Re: Confused with TXT PDS
haha yeah that's how I feel!
The customer has a couple of these carts. He thought the controller could be bad so he swapped it with one of the other ones, the one he swapped it with is still running, this one is still intermittent.. Sometimes I miss my old job LOL Thanks anyways! |
