I just found out on another post that it is a REED switch .It shuts everything down while charging . I guess i can get this from a dealer.I just replace controller and found out this thing was burn up to .This may be caused by my charger it seems like it stays on 30 amps during the charging . What could cause that and does not shut off .

I just talked to a dealer of EZGO and he said he could get the whole receptacle 90.00 bucks . I don't need the whole thing i just need a little switch with two wires coming out of it .

You can purchase a new Reed switch separately and install it. Or, you can bypass the existing one by connecting a jumper between the small red wire and the small white wire at the cart charge receptacle. If you do this, you should route your charger cable through the steering wheel to remind you it is plugged into the cart. This prevents the dreaded bouncing-down-the-road-charger-syndrome.
