Default Shopping for Cart

I'm new here and shopping for a cart. Going to be using it for work around the house and around the neighborhood. I live in a very hilly area. I'm looking locally for refurbished carts and ran across this

2009 E-Z-GO ST Refurb

•12v Plug
•State of Charge Meter
•Standard Lift Kit with All-Terrain Tires
•Headlights
•Tail Lights
•36 Volt DC Drive System
•Standard Top
•Safety Bar
•Flip Flop Rear Seat
•12" Custom Wheels

They say its on sale for $4750. Since I'm new to the carting world I don't know if thats a good deal.

I don't have time currently to do alot of work myself and need something right away.

Any advice is appreciated.

How old are the batteries and has anything else been upgraded. F&R switch , controller , heavier gauge wires. etc. does it have 4 wheel braking system , hour meter , or does it just have mostly stock components ? Can you post some pics.

That would be pretty high for my area, south louisiana. I'm not sure if it is an option for you, but I'm sure you can find an old cart and build it just how you want for less.

It seems right to me. But "right" doesn't mean "great". It means OK.

If you could pick it up for $4500, I'd say that's pretty good.

You say "they say its on sale for...." Is it at a dealership? If so, then usually, dealerships start out at an inflated price. That's not always the case, but it is sometimes. They are pros at selling carts and you are not. Try to feel them out. Don't get focused on a single cart. Do you want to do work on your cart, like we all do here? If so, you can manage without a perfect cart. A;so, ask to get in touch with the PO (previous owner) Just MHO.......

Thanks for the replys. I do want to do work on the cart and extend my overall knowledge on upgrades but my time is limited now.

Other than buying a cart, I will need a charger. Reading some forum topics I see alot of support for DPI chargers? Any others I should consider?

If I purchase said cart above what immediate mods would yall do and why?

I was also am considering welding on a front rack (off the brush guard)for a ice cooler as well as a trailer.

Thanks again
