Default Batteries

hi all been awhile since my last post , question ? does anyone have any reviews on Ultrastart golf cart batteries , who makes them ect ... I am torn between these and USBattery , and torn on the configuration i want to go with , -6-8 volt or 8 6 volt with a high Ah ,Longer run time , thanks , Rich

What type of battery charger do you have? If you go with US Batteries then your existing charger may not be up to the task of properly charging them as that manufacture recommends a higher then normal cell cut-off voltage.

currently have a 36 volt charger , but will be buying a new charger to handle new battery pack , I am not worried about charging at this point , just wondering about these ultra start batteries that I have never heard of

Who is sell the Ultra Start batteries?

The only thing I can find with a quick search is lithium-ion starting batteries which wouldn't be a good choice for golf cart usage.

there is a place up by us , Critters Carts in Woodstock,Il , they carry them 6 volt and 8 volt cart batteries , a buddy bought these 2 years ago , has no complaints yet , but I have never heard of this brand , probably a china battery ? ill probably stick with US Battery ,since i can not find any reviews on other

I think I am going with 8 6volt 232 AH USBatterys , get 1800 AH total versus 1000 ah with 6 170ah 8 volts , I am a lead foot , seems ill get longer run time with more AH ?

Site sponsors or anyone else, don't ship batteries due to weight and cost of freight transport.

ebay is another story and I found "Ultrastart" batteries there. Sellers say they are Trojan black box batteries. No way to know unless you call Trojan and verify.
