controller getting hot
my neighbor has a early 90's ezgo 36v controller cart after he runs it a lil while the controller gets real hot and he has melted one battery terminal everything looks stock except he has some larger tires any help??

Make sure all the connections are good, check the F/R switch contacts, make sure they aren't burnt or getting warm. 4 gage cables will help a bunch to lower the heat.

ok i'll check that switch tomorrow thats kinda what i thought about the cables his look tiny but i don't anything about sparkys thanks for the quick reply

Sometimes it's actually the solenoid that is getting hot. Make sure you can tell the difference.
