720Deere, in addition to almost being neighbors, it appears we share more than just an interest in carts, I am also a JD fan. Once I have everything put together I would be happy to get together with you for a demo. It will probably be a 2 month process with work and baseball/softball season schedules. I am outside of Rock State Park, where abouts are you?

Don't forget the resister (470 ohm) and a 48v capable SOC meter if yours isn't.

Kernal - Scotty B has me covered, he is including a new resister and diode with the new 48v solenoid. I also have his digital SOC meter that is 48v ready - thanks again.

I too just went with the 6 8v CR190's and so far have been very pleased, although I am still in the break in period. My TXT is also a series and I did not want the batteries in the bag well due to the weight and it fits my small beer cooler just right.

hookemtx120, looks like you have a very nice set up, looking to go in a similar direction with motor upgrade and IFS. What type of top speed are you getting with D&D high torque motor? I am considering an EMP two speed motor upgrade in the future but keeping my options open.

I was getting about 12mph with the 36v setup, I am seeing closer to 15-16 with the 48v. I was not real concerned about top speed and went with the highest torque motor I could. I will use this in a very hilly rocky area in central texas. I took it to a local atv park and was very pleased with its climbing capabilities.

That's the exact same reason I am going to go with 6-8v my rear seat flips up and there is the perfect spot for a cooler.
