Default 36 volt motor problem

I took my 36 volt GE motor appart to clean and inspect it last week and found that it needed new brushes put it back togather and it ran just fine with the old brushes, i took it apart and removed old brushes to match up new ones installed new brushes and now solinoid clicks and cart barly moves is there a spacific order to put the new brushes in. any help will be appritiated, not having a good night.

were the tops of brushes angled? if so did you angle the new ones right and did you put the spring tensioners back on right................................

yes i found out later tonight that i did assemble it right just a freak happining i guess that just at the time i replaced these brushes the f@r switch decided to give me a problem changed it with a new one and everything works fine now.
