Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
Does anyone have experience with a Rhox A-Arm lift kit for an RXV? I am looking for a reliable A-Arm lift after hearing some of the horror stories about drop spindle lifts and lack of stability when driving. If not the Rhox, is there another A-Arm to recommend?

Re: Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
I sold my 2010 RXV limo with the RHOX A-Arm lift. It was a great cart and rode real nice but remember it had a long wheel base. I would buy it again.

I bought a cart with the Rhox drop spindle already installed, have not had any problems yet after 2 years.

Re: Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
Of coarse. I got an offer I could not resist. I am building another electric RXV now. Trying to figure out paint. Want something nicer than a standard single color. Got a Jakes 6" spindle lift for cheap and going with the same rims on my avatar. Also ordered a rear seat and got the conversion for 8 volt batteries. Just need the time to put it all together. Paint is what is holding me up, I got a few shops drawing up some schemes for me to choose.
But to get back to the original thread if not for the cheap Jakes kit I would have bought another RHOX A-Arm. I am thinking I am going to flip the cart I am building as well for a quick profit so I am going cheaper except paint. |

Re: Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
Thanks for the replies. So Jerj7907, it sounds like you had no issues with the Rhox A-Arm. It was plenty stable when at top speed? But it also sounds like you haven't had any problems with the Jake's 6" spindles either. What to do? Good luck with your new build - will watch for the photos!

Re: Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
I want an RXV! I thought the RXV already had so much stock lift that a 6" spindle kit is plenty? Why would a A-Arm be any better than a spindle lift?

Re: Rhox A-Arm Lift for RXV
caokgafamily, The RXV is very nice - you should get one. You are right that a 6" spindle lift is plenty on an RXV but I have read about lack of control issues with some spindle lift setups. I am looking at an A-Arm lift to prevent that. Just looking for some reliable info before I pull the trigger on lift and wheels.
