Default 91 Marathon F&R and Wire Upgrade

So I picked up a new set of 4ga wires, a heavy duty F&R switch, and a F&R conversion kit from ScottyB

Upon receipt

Scotty's packaging is awesome! You could have "Jim Carey'ed" this thing and nothing would have been hurt.

Old wires, and 4 month old 6ga wires

Wiring complete

The F&R install

The old

Had a few issues with my original wiring not being right, but a few emails from Scotty got me squared away.

Old lever

New switch

I sure do have a lot of giddy up now, going to take a while to get used to that.

Thanks Scotty for putting up we my questions, I learned a lot about my little cart

Yes we did - I rewrote the Marathon instruction sheet with your help - we clarified a few things. Future Marathon F&R conversion guys will thank you - Hey, the F&R rocker sure looks good on the old girl. I'm glad you are happy with the cart.

Thanks, I think

Seriously though, I appreciate all your help you provided in getting me going, those wires had me jacked up and second guessing myself.

I did replace a couple connections that I wasnt pleased with.

I'm excited to put her to work again

Hi Scotty,
I finally got around to hooking up my 90 Marathon with your conversion kit, very impressed, it took some doing, fried the diode because I followed the wiring sheet turns out it must have been mirror reversed, I got a new one with a spare from my auto electrician, hooked it up the other way round and hey presto, I now don't have a reversing buzzer at all can you help with that, I have a blue wire & a black wire hanging loose from behind the F&R & can't seem to find were they go, is this conversion available for delivery to me

Cheers
Laurie

Hi Crackers,
At this time we are not shipping outside the continental US and Hawaii
Do you have a contact in the US who can send it over to you ?

Thanks for the reply yes I have a US address that I can use, also I will try to get some pictures up of the conversion, I bought another cart cheap of ebay, it's a 91 series marathon so I kept checking the wiring between them when doing the conversion & it worked out well, I still want the reverse alarm to work any suggestions
cheers
Laurie
