Dead 92 Marathon
I recently purchased an older model EZGO Marathon 36Volt. The guy said the batteries were still good but had not charged them in awhile. So when I picked it up it never ran. After charging it for the last 5 days the cart barely moves an inch. the lights come on when I switch the switch to "FWD Reverse" and then when I hit the pedal the lights dim considerably.
I just want it to run, at this point, any suggestions would be great! 1) do I need a volt reader? if so what kind? 2) Do I have to buy 6 batteries? |

Re: Dead 92 Marathon
Most likely you need new batteries.

Re: Dead 92 Marathon
The fact that the lights dim and it doesn't move......I would guess that the batteries are toast. but if you don't have a DVM. You need to buy one, you can get a cheapie at radio shack or maybe even walmart for about $10 to $15. Then you can check the voltages of each battery and the combined pack voltage.
