TXT - Rear Hub Squeak
I've got an 2001.5 Electric TXT. Put rear HD hubs and rear disc brakes on it when old rear hub stripped. Had a really bad "squeaking" noise in left rear hub when braking or turning. Replaced rear bearings. No change. Pulled wheel off last night and there is some play in the rear hub - pretty sure this must be what is causing squeaking, but don't what I need to replace? Sprayed lithium grease behind the hub and this has helped some, but want to fix the cause of the problem.

Re: TXT - Rear Hub Squeak
Those should be torqued to like 140 ft lbs. you have them that tight? If so, switch sides with the hubs. If the noise moves, it is the hub, if not, may be the axle.
