Default List of cables?

I have an electrician that I work with that is willing to make me up some replacement cables for my cart, which is pretty great. He told me to just let him know what I need and he'll make them up. Is there a listing of cable lengths, colors, and connections anywhere that I could give him? I suppose I could just gut the cart and have him make new what is now old, but then I have to deal with making sure I have everything in the proper place rather than just one-for-one swaps with a pile of proper wires. It's a 1997 TXT. From what I have seen here, 4G seems to be the way to go.

Thanks in advance.

well if your friend is a real electrician, have him give you some WIRE MARKERS, they come in a book, or you could get a set at your local radio shack....remove each cable one at a time, mark each end with a different number and the same number where the cable attaches to. when you friend makes up the new cables, either have him transfer the wire markers to the new cable, or give them back to you and you can match them up. them install them one at a time matching the cables to where they belong.

Pull and label each cable for proper length, An inch or two extra never hurts.

I made each 98 TXT. The difference in price from 2 to 3 is insignificant, so if you ever plan on upgrading to 500 amps, go for it.

Be sure to pay good money for GOOD heat shrink. I paid extra for color coded heat-shrink that had gooey air-proof goo.

I went 4ga when I bought the cart and needed a few replacements, but installed a new set of 2ga when I upgraded the controller and switched to 42V. If you're having them made, go 2ga and you'll never need to mess with them again!

I pulled all mine and measured, taking into account some changes I needed to make. I made a note of the main cable runs before pulling the wires (this is for my DCS):
Motor top/A2 goes to solenoid
Same solenoid connection to controller B+
Motor bottom/A1 goes to control M-
Battery positive to solenoid
Battery negative to controller B-

Price really isn't an issue, as he's going to make them up from materials here at work. I'm always willing to go premium if I'm not the one paying for it.
