Default 2010 ezgo txt

Did EZGO make both 36V and 48V TXT carts in 2010? or just the 48V carts?

Thanks

garrett, they did make a 36v in '10 because I've got one, or used to have a 36v, it's a 48v now(converted to the high life).

I'm thinking 2010 might have been a transition year so could be either 36 or 48. I have seen an owners manual for a 48v TXT issued in Jan. of 2010.

I was looking at a 2010 and the seller said it was a 36V. I didnt know if all 2010 were 48V, so I was questioning the seller on the year but sounds like it is a 2010 I guess.

If you can get the serial number, that would be a way to find out for sure. I'm not sure where they put them in 2010 but the first place I would look is just below the charge port. If you can find a number enter it here: https://www.shopezgo.com/customer-se...ialNumber.html

If there are letters in front of the number try entering the numbers without the letters.

edit: Another place to look for the serial number is on the cross brace above the rear batteries. Just lift the plastic flap to see it.

Can you utilize the "chips" on the 2010 48V TXT carts or is all the programming need to be done by the dealers?

Thanks

I don't think so. I believe 48v TXTs (and other 48v models) require a hand held programer to " adjust speed for the terrain" with 18.5mph being the high speed setting.
There might be a charge for this. Check with a dealer.
