I don't know about that. $5-10 worth of angle iron, and 20 minutes time to cut and weld it. Pretty cheap I'd say. And much more rewarding when you do the work yourself.

Those newer style ezgo carts have lots of potential.

You have a great cart on your hands, and we all cant wait to see what your gonna do with it

Last year, i worked on a 98 metalist for someone, and made it a real hunting buggy. Last week they went hunting with it for a 2nd time, and he said it was an outstanding cart, and the fact that it was soo quite in the bush, he could sneak up on the prey

From this

to this, and more was done after the pics were taken.

heres the tread from a while ago
Monsterezgokid's Monster Hunting Build

its more of a "Go" cart then for "show"

Good luck with your cart!

thanks. i finally got the new tray welded in today. but now there is something worrying me. when i charge the batteries, one makes faint bubbling noises and two of them have water that seem to leak out the top. is this a result of the batteries beeing too full? i need help. here are some more pics of the new tray.

that looks like an awesome cart Monster. i hope mine will come out like that. i think the next step is for new upholstery and a voltage meter on the dash...and then lights, and a lift... and big tires... and and and and etc.....
it never gets boring working on carts

the bubbling is normal as for the leaking yes it could be from being overfull......i would keep an eye on things for awhile......................................
