Default Newbie with a fog light question

I'm picking up my 2005 E-Z-GO PDS on Monday. It is a basic lift kit buggie (green) with Black rims, 5" lift and fold down back seat.

I've bought a seat of 55 watt halogen fog lights from walmart ($19) to have some lighting on it and I would like your opinion as to where you would mount them if this was your cart. I'm also kind of weird about everything being nice and neat with no wiring being seen ! I kind of felt around the front end and it wasn't real solid as far as a place to mount them. I'm hoping to just tie these lights into 2 batteries to get the 12 volts I need.

By the way,
The first night I'll need the lights will be next Saturday as we have a haunted house and hay ride every year and we use our carts to shuffle "monsters" back and forth for the 300 plus guests.

Thanks,
Ken

On the Black one, was there a lot of vibration with the lights mounted where they are at ?

I drove it mainly in the campground on paved roads so it wasn't bad. Not enough to worry with. Make sure you don't ground any of it to metal on the cart and run the ground wires back to the - post of the battery.

I'm leaning towards mounting them on the front roof supports bars close to where it comes down to the body because this is more rigid than the Plastic.
I might even use the windshield holes to mount them on.

The lights I got are 3 1/2" od halogen (55 watt) and pretty bright, I tested one on my truck battery and I could easily see 75 to 80 feet. They came with one of those cheap plastic toggle switches, I picked up a gold old metal on.

I've attached a pic of the lights I'm using.

Just make sure to rotate the batteries you use for the fog lights to prevent discharging those batteries prematurely

You can get a voltage reducer off of ebay to do it right.

Yeah I know, but I'm trying to save a few bucks after the check I'll have to write on Monday for the cart ! I'll probably fix it in a month or so, but I need the lights this coming weekend.

Just make sure the mounting points don't ground out to the cart.
