PDS Keyswitch voltage question.
Does anybody out the have a stock PDS with a DVM battery meter connected to the Keyswitch?
If so, does the battery meter shut off when the F/R is in Neutral? The question came up in another thread as to whether the Keyswitch voltage in a cart with a stock PDS (Curtis 1206MX) controller went away when the F/R was in Neutral. The respective schematics show that it goes away in Neutral in series carts, DCS carts and PDS carts with Alltrax aftermarket controllers, but the keyswitch voltage is supplied internally by a PDS controller, so I cannot tell by the schematic. I had a DVM battery meter when I was running a stock controller, but I connected it directly to the battery because the voltage at the keyswitch goes through a couple switches (Reed and Run/Tow) and the controller before it gets to the keyswitch and I wanted to monitor true pack voltage. |

Re: PDS Keyswitch voltage question.
I have a stock 2001 PDS controller with a light bar style meter. It never turns off.
