Default has anyone or can you weld a marathon rear end for positrac

1. has anyone welded a 93 marathon rear end for positrac?
2.is it possable to do this?
3. if so, does it cause a steering problem beeing welded solid with no slip.

The only problem is that it places more stress on the gear if used on the street/ pavement. It is not that bad on dirt where it allows a little give. I have welded several for hunting carts and the traction improvement is significant.

i have not tried it yet. i have just ordered the upgrade parts from shadowman "at a greatly reduced price" to change from 36v to 48v, when i get it running i will let you know.
