Default Time for new controller?

I have a series txt that I just did a 48 volt conversion on (March). For the past week or so I have noticed a slight shutter on an intermittent basis. This has happened in both forward and reverse. This evening the cart died on me. Got it going then died again. I can hear the solenoid engaging but no movement. Pack voltage was 50.5 when this happened.

I have a Logi System non programmable 480 amp controller. I did cause a thermal shutdown once when pulling a lawn sprayer about a year ago. It was also ripper out of my cart in an accident a few years back.

F/R switch making good contact, reed switch already by-passed. Any thoughts or diagnostic advice appreciated.

When it quits how did you get it going again? When the solenoid clicks and the cart don't move make some voltage measurements on the solenoid big terminals. Both should be same as battery voltage (50.5). Check for loose wires, battery jumpers and any connections that are warm when cart fails.. good voltage on both solenoid contacts is a good place to start troubleshooting.

I remember a shutter, right before caps started to pop.

When the cart was not responsive, I moved the low voltage wiring around thinking I may have a loose connection. I had this problem in the past with the Molex plug, I have since removed the plug and have direct connections from ITS to controller.

Am I correct in assuming that if the solenoid is clicking the low voltage system is working properly and the issue is in the high voltage side of the system?

I should also mention that I washed my cart yesterday. I always seem to have some issue after a bath. I did not wash under the seat but wondering if water is finding its way into the ITS box?

I will see what happens tonight when I can try the cart again.

Mine gets weird whenever the ITS gets wet, so I try to keep from wetting the floor when cleaning.

I use my cart in a lot of water. the biggest problem I have is the water that gets under the seat. the ITS is so sensitive that where the wires connect to the controller are too close together also the molex plug does not help either. anytime I had a problem I would use air compressor and blow of those connections perfectly dry and then everything works fine. I have since relocated my controller behind the backrest

Just took the cart out and it operated normally. I jumped the gun on the controller being the culprit and now suspect I got the ITS box wet when washing the cart.
