Question leaf spring

is there any tricks of the trade on changinr a leaf spring on a cart? it looks pretty basic to me, just asking

Support the frame on stands, use a floor jack to control the axle position, have fun.

I have to add a motor to a 87 resistor cart. I'm thinking since the donor cart rear end/motor /axle assembly works great, just changing the whole rear axle at the leaf spring shackle hangers. You guys agree/disagree. Seeing something I'm not?

Yeah, plenty of unnecessary work, but if you gotta do it that way, then I guess you gotta. Make sure the spring lengths are the same before you start wrenching. Also, verify that the axle distance to the front spring mount remains the same or your wheelbase will change.
