36v to12v converter
I am looking at converters but the amps are all over the place. I wanna run lights and a stereo. Anyone know what amp converter I need?

There are cheap eBay ones, but I believe in quality and reliability. Give ScottyB a call.

You'll need to know the amp draw for horn, lights, stereo, accessories, etc.

Re: 36v to12v converter
Can't go wrong with a 30 amp, but it may be overkill for yours. It's a good size for mine, but I have 55 watt halogens, which is nearly 10 amps. Stereo and other gadgets make 30 a good size. If you have LED headlights, you might could get away with less. I always try and add 10% more than I need.

Re: 36v to12v converter
Ezgodan, as mentioned, get one from ScottyB at cartsunlimited.net. I have one, and IO have my horn, lights, and radio connected through a fuse panel and have no issues at all.
