Default chargers

I ended up with 2 , does it matter how many amps? Is any one better than the other , 1 is a Clarke 36v 25amp . the other a Lester II 36v 40 amp ........they both have timer boards . I assuming the lester will charge the pak faster than the Clarke the Clarke is from a floor scrubbing machine

I would use the 25 amp charger. The 40 amp charger might cause more stress on batteries and connections.

The wiring from the charge port to the batteries is not suitable for 40a, go with the 25a

Ahh, the wire is not too small. But, as radioman said, the 25a would be easier on the batts.

Make sure they're made for deep cycle golf cart batteries.

Battery manufactures recommend 10% AH rating bulk replenishment ... 40 amps is good for very high AH rated batteries... 25 is more than enough for most any GC.
