Marathon Front Cowl - Appearance Upgrade
Got an 87 i believe, photo below. I want to make it look a little newer and beleive i need to get a front cowl insert? help me out guys. Since photo was taken, i removed all old paint, a friend has it and finishing up wrapping it in camo vinyl. once i get it back, going to try and fab up my own lift and put some 23x10" tires under it.

Re: Marathon Front Cowl - Appearance Upgrade
Won't fit - the cowls you're looking at are for the 88 and up Marathons, which are a little different. You could put on a TXT cowl with a few very small modifications, from what I understand.

Re: Marathon Front Cowl - Appearance Upgrade
Yep,pick up a TXT cowl and dash, remove all of the cowl/dash sheetmetal from the front of the Marathon except the foot-wall itself, including the package-tray.Some minor trimming will need to be done on the cart, and on the bottom area of the cup-holders to clear the stepped area in the center of the foot-wall.Some braces can be made pretty easy to support it properly. Its not a bad swap,it can be done in an evening if you have average skills. My Avatar-pic is a 85' Marathon with TXT-Body.Hope this helps.

Lots of people give them away. Do some checking local. I'm in Delaware and have one you are welcome to.

Re: Marathon Front Cowl - Appearance Upgrade
I'll check the costs but I think it might be more than could ever be acceptable. There isn't much weight, maybe 12 pounds. But the cowl is pretty bulky.
