SCOTTY B'S charge break in
i have question about scotty b's new battery break in.
i am on my 4th charge of my new batteries. started at 100% charge before i ran and discharge them to to 49.49 or 75% ish then recharge them. i have the dpi with the float. should i let it be on float while i am not using it? or keep 100% to 75% and repeat process up to 20 times? |

Re: SCOTTY B'S charge break in
yes keep them plugged in all the time. you don't have to draw them down to 75 percent before the next charge. charge them every time you use it. but for the first 20 charges don't let it get below 75.

really... I am reading it as.....start at 100 and take it down to 75 and no less and repeat the process up to 20 times.

Re: SCOTTY B'S charge break in
Your reading it wrong.
The instruction is to do many shallow discharges. Use 25% or less of the available supply and recharge. 25% is not set in stone - 10% is okay too. |
