Default EZGO Will Go, But Shortly Stops!

I'm sending this in for my dad and we are new with dealing with a golf cart, please bear with us. He just purchased an EZGO electric golf cart from a friend and the golf cart sat up for about 6 months. My dad put all new batteries in and let it get a full charge over night. The next afternoon when he went to ride, he said everything was fine and after about 10 minutes of riding it died. He got it back to the house and put the charger back on it. After about 20 minutes it got a full charge and we rode it around again for about 10-15 minutes and again it died on us. He has put new cables on the batteries, water in the batteries like it's suppose to have. Could this be a problem with our golf cart in the computer or pedal box? Or could the charger be bad and maybe not giving a full charge to the batteries? If anyone needs any information as far as the year and model to help out, please give me until this afternoon to get that. Thank you in advance!

Unlikely to get to a full charge in 20 minutes, unless they were pretty much fully charged.

We need year, type and drive system, for instance, I have a 1998 TXT Series. Also the make and model of the charger.

And since you're new here, Welcome.

Go here and read everything that says "batteries", especially break-in procedures.
