Default 1999 GOEZ GOLF CAR wiring reverse buzzer issue

1999 GOEZ golf cart mfg code B499
I believe 36.volts

This cart worked great then one day after parking the reverse buzzer started going off out of the blue.. Cart was in forward, turned off with key out.. A neighbor ( annoyed with noise) came over and disconnected wires till the buzzer stopped.. The picture of what I was left with I think I attached correct

Hoping someone could possibly assist with getting this running again..

Thanks

If the neighbor disconnected wires "til the buzzer stopped", why are more the one of the battery cables disconnected?

Setting that aside, does the cart have a series or a DCS drive system?
(If there is a Run/Tow switch on the controller cover, it is a DCS)

The cart is a DCS, I can see the f/r assembly. It can take a while for the reverse alarm to silence even when removing the battery cables because energy is stored somewhere in the system and it bleeds out of the controller slowly.

Johnnie.....OBVIOUSLY his neighbor has no clue and just started disconnecting wires......which is why he has a mess. but you would have thought it would have stopped after taking off the first cable of the pack.

EDIT: thanks Gornoman.....ya learn something new everyday!

The switch is in tow. Not sure about DCS.All batteries have some voltage by themselves. Golf carts I have never worked on but I have modified a few power wheels for my children. It's gotta be some what similar I hope...figure if I can get a close wiring plan I can start there.. Attached a few work pics..

Update.. Batteries are wired. First battery in line with open positive reads 11v.. Second battery 6v. None of the other four batteries have voltage by themselves. 1v registers from the first positive to the last negitive..the charger i have turns off and on and requires the batteries be somewhat charged correct? If so could I jump using my car battery or is the voltage to high?

From the batteries I can see, they are Trojan 605, which is a 6 volt battery. Fully charged, you should read 6.37 volts each. I suspect your crazy reading was actually two batteries. You can test each battery individually even when the cables are connected. Simply place the negative probe on the battery - and the positive probe on the battery +. Then check the sum of the individual readings to the measured reading of the pack.

Thanks for the info, G-Man. It would take a while for the energy stored in the filter caps to be discharged by the beeper.

@ mikemele1982: Here's a wiring diagram for the battery pack and a schematic for the DCS drive system.

Thanks!! Connected.. First battery that positive connects to drive is 5v.. Next is 3v.. Remaining 4 under 1v.. I have a few 6v quick chargers but they will not recognize the batteries disconnected one by one. Connected all together could I connect with jumper cables to my car to charge enough for the carts trickle charger to kick on?

Mike.....if you have an automotive 12v charger.....just charge them 2 at a time....and you can just leave them all connected together, it won't matter.
