Thumbs down ok guys, give me the bad news !!!

Went out a rode 2 - 2 1/2 miles today on a full charge and notice the battery meter had dropped a couple of lines. I came home and put the Voltmeter on each.

#1 6.21
#2 6.22
#3 6.24
#4 6.28
#5 6.23
#6 6.22

I then put them under a load (tires against a wall with slight pressure on the peddle) and all of the batteries read in the 5.55 to 5.60 range. As I was riding I also heard the "beeps" that someone asked me about, I couldn't tell if it was 2 and the 1 or if it was 3 and then 1 because I have them muffled and some dogs were barking at me plus the roar of the tires.

It's time for new Trojans isn't it ???

2-1 = low battery voltage. 3-1 = solenoid driver failure. You really need to know the beeps. My bet is on the batteries.

PS, you also need to begin saving for a new controller - Alltrax 400 amp. Your stock controller will soon fail, as well. This is why we do not lift PDS carts at our shop...

The shop I got mine from said they had about a 10% failure rate on the controllers in the PDS's. Said they preferred not to lift them, but would at a customers request. I chose to do it because it was the best looking cart they had and I knew I'd be spending Battery and controller eventually, but it seems to be sooner than later !

Which one these do I need and whats this controller gonna cost me at your place ?

Sounds like you need the batteries first. Check with the site sponsors for controller pricing. 10% failure rate? I really question the ...... - I think I had better just stop here. You need batteries...

Which model do I need, seems to be a lot of 400 controllers out there !
I'm getting batteries tomorrow, might just go ahead and order the controller also.

I like the Alltrax 400 amp programable for a lifted PDS. Don't forget to upgrade to 4 ga cables. The cart should have been built with them, if it was done correctly. If not, you should add them ASAP.

I do have 4 ga cables, but I have the means to make some 2 ga and I was thinking of over-hauling them.

Would you go ahead and swap out the controller or wait on the other one to fail ?
