Default 91 Cart ?'s

I am fixing to purchase my first electric cart, its a 91 cart that is supposedly in good shape other than the batterys. First off I am assuming that this is a resistor cart right? Also with a new set of batterys and a good charge how many miles of travel can I expect?

91 its possible its a controller cart, better for you as far as upgrading if thats in the future.....and if upgrading is you might want to make sure and or even hold out till you find a controller cart.......as for batteries if they are good well maintained batteries you should exspect between 20 to 22 miles between charges..............good luck enjoy and save your money your gonna need it as you are going to becaome addicted to this stuff with nothing you can do about it and if your married its time to start sucking up to the better half now so she dosn,t catch on to fast..............................

I don't really want to get into upgradeing too much I already have too many addictions already, I just spent 3k doing a motor swap in my truck and I really need something to get around on while hunting. I plan to just put a small lift on it with some 20'' tires. I really am more concerned with reliability than speed or off road performance, that's what I have an ATV for.

Are the rear ends in these things limited slip? If so is there any way to lock them up?

the whole is that if you lift it and your gonna hunt i assume there are gonna be some hills also and with just a lift and tires in those conditions the stock 275 amp controller may not hold up........just to much for it......................

I'm only talking about putting 20'' tire or so on it nothing radical just something more aggressive. As for lift I may block it up just alittle but nothing dramatic at all... What I am planing here is all function and no show.
