cable size
Is 6 gauge batt. cable to small for 36v with a 400dcs controller&200amp hd solenoid?

That would be what would have come from the factory, but most people on here would recommend at least 4ga. I was running 6ga on my 36v with the 400amp controller without issue but am upgrading to 4ga as I also upgraded to 48v.
If you need new wires I would recommend going with at least 4ga. |

Yep and you will love the DCX controller! On a very old and weak 36v pack was amazing!

when I first started working on my 96 I installed 2gauge and it would run 16 mph at wot at 36 v stock controller, with the alltrax dcx 400 it jumped to 21 mph at wot, at 42 v it hit 25.4 mph at wot I'm currently working in my 8th 6 v batt and running mid to hi 26 mph at wot, hoping to hit mid 27 or better.
Oh it's a stock sepex motor |

I hear ya.I also have a c6 clubcar gas that we take to a local lake campground .There allways seems to be someone to beat.GRRRRRR!!!!
