hey guys i have been doing some research and i know the front track width widens when going to a long arm but i was wondering if some people that have it could post what lift they have and the track width. i am looking to build a hunting vehicle that is going to be taken in and out of pickup truck often and want to know if i have to go over wheel wells. thanks guys

Jakes Long travel- 40.75" from flat spot on hub to hub and my wheels and tires are 51.5 from outside of tire to outside of tire. My guess would be every tire wouls be a little differant

Re: track width after long arm install
I assume by "long arm" you are referring to a long travel lift kit (like the jakes).
Tires and wheel selection will make a huge difference in overall width. You posted in the correct forum and got the answer. What else do you need to know? |

Re: track width after long arm install
yes, sorry i meant long travel...nope thats pretty much it for now. i dont own a cart yet, still doing diligence on what will work best for me. basically want to build a torque monster with good range and have some kind of limited slip rear. i work at a cat dealer as a field tech but we also sell club car. but i think im gonna go ezgo cause club cars are pretty ugly in my opinion.

Re: track width after long arm install
go with a TxT series cart, 48 V upgrade, and I recommend the Allsports long travel

Re: track width after long arm install
I can't really speak to series vs. DCS vs. PDS, as I've only had one. Do an advanced search for "hunting". I'll bet you find many good DCS and PDS hunting carts. I like my series, but I bought it before I knew what it was.
I do know that the TXT steering changed some time after my '98. Don't know if it changed for the better, but that is one difference between model years. |
