Without knowing for sure that it runs and drives well, it isn't worth $500 in my opinion. Is a charger coming with it? If not, figure $500+ for a new set of batteries, and $150-500 for a charger, and you're already into it for as much as you can get a much newer cart for. Not to mention having to replace the vinyl on the seats since they are painted so hideously, PLUS the paint on the rest of the body (you did say that part doesn't matter to you though since you'll be painting it one color anyway). It looks to me like a $100-$150 cart...

I paid $50 for an ezgo in nicer physical condition, but with bad batteries and some damaged wiring, and I live where things don't end up all rusted out. Paid $125 for a NICE club car with charger and WORKING batteries, but a bad controller.

I'd keep looking, or make him an offer lower than his asking price.

yep $1-250 cart. You don't know for sure if it runs with good batteries. Low ball your price. Good deals will come if you keep lookin.
