Default Installed new Controller and need help.

I just installed my new alltrax controller and 400amp solenoid. When I put on forward it goes in reverse and when I put in reverse it goes in reverse. Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Clemsom......it happens all the time when you go from stock to a alltrax controller. which exact controller do you have. is your cart a SERIES or a SEPEX drive cart?

oh and btw.....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome to BGW

If it's a PDS drive system? switch the TOW/RUN switch to TOW before you do any work. Change the F1 F2 wires on the motor, or the small gauge black and white wires on top of the controller

if it's a series drive system. take the main battery pack ground cable off the battery post and put some tape around the end so you don't get any sparks, do the same with the pos + post and tape it to, switch the S1 and S2 wires on the motor, if you change to cables on the motor use two wrenches to make sure the studs don't turn in the motor, if the stud in the motor turns your in trouble. Or follow the s1 and s2 wires on the motor and change them on the back side of the F/R switch bolted in front of the controller

Roger that Rib - The S1 and S2 cables land on the F&R switch at the 9 oclock and 3 oclock positions.
