Remove the jumper and break out the trouble shooting doc again.. The first place I would look is on the red wire coming into the 2 micro switches on top of the FnR switch. If it was clicking before, that is what you have been working around so would check there first..

UpDate !..Ok, the solenoid is back working, that was my bad...Started over on the trouble shooting doc. I made it to level 23 " Key On - in F position - depressed pedal - solenoid clicks" - (should read 9.0-11.5 volts between controller B- and pin 2), I have 13.7.. Doc. reads " disconnect 4 pin pedal box connector-- Repeat..should read 13.0 - 15.5 volts. I have 2.7 volts. Doc reads,, replace controller.. Thanks to all that commented. Pique, that doc. is a keeper and I thank you very much ! Anyone have a suggestion on a controller. I think its a curtis 1206, the tag is gone..

Yup! It served me well when I was trouble shooting my cart. I ended up in the same position as you, a dead controller. If I might suggest checking out the sponsors on here for a new controller, with a special shout out to ScottyB as that is where I bought my controller. I was even able to contact him by phone when I ran into a glitch making the switch.

Great advise, ScottyB helps everyone here i see.. but my budget will only allow me to try a rebuild. Which I did, So I now have forward !!! But no reverse. I am thinking I might have a wire out of place. The orange wire from the controller was lying under the fnr switch. The reverse beeper seems burnt and is silent. I tried to take a couple of pix to show what I have..I hope a pro can look at see if i'm wired correctly. If so, maybe the switch is bad. Thanks in advance always...

can't be for sure if its ALL wired properly.....but I do know that you did connect the orange wire to the correct spot on the F&R

Thanks Sir Nuke, that was my main concern. I guess I will attempt to trouble shoot the switch and the fnr. Thanks for your quick reply..

The directional problem may be in the big F&R rotary switch.
Swap the cables connected at 9 and 3 o'clock and see if the cart runs just one way but opposite of before.....if yes the F&R contacts are bad, replace the switch with my HD unit

Thanks ScottyB,, I did remove the small switch and check its connections, it had corrosion, cleaned and no change. I then reversed 3 and 9 as suggested. I had zero movement on forward or reverse. I switched them back and had my forward doing ok again. What do you suggest sir??

After replacing, the wires, controller, F&R Switch, Batteries,, it works. Not a very fast cart, but still its ok.. Thanks to all that helped, would NOT have gotten it done without your kind suggestions..
