Cool EZGO eating controllers

Since iīm new here, hi everyone!!.

I have a problem with my EZGO and maybe someone here can help me, here up in Sweden there is no one to ask.
Itīs a EZGO 1996 a DCS modell 36 volt.
When i bought the car the reverse didnīt work, after opening up the controller i found that it was broken, it looked like a couple of components hade explode.
I bought a new controller a 400 amps on ebay, six weeks later i got the controller, put it in the car and it worked just fine.......for 3 hours.
Now i facing the same problem,no reverse. I opened up the controller since the warranty run out during the shipping time to Sweden and found that the same components was broken as in the first one.
So my question is can there be something else causing this problem like motor or so.

Thankīs
Mikey

Mikey,
Was the Controller you bought on Ebay rebuilt ? Most folks here think rebuilt items are of poor quality and won't last. I've been asking questions about controllers myself because I'm going to replace mine soon and the most recommended brand is the Alltrax. I'm new to carting and I'm not sure if this brand is the most reccomended because that is what the site sponsors sell or if it is the best on the market.

one other question are yoiu using the 250 amp fuse they give you? cause that would blow and save you ca controller......also find a wiring diagram and go over everything several times if you have to....................................

Can you take some pictures of it and post it. This may help in finding the problem.
