Do I need a 36v to 12v reducer
Hello, I just picked up our first golf cart. It is a 2002 TXT. It has lift and is street legal with front and rear lights/ brake lights which appear to be stock to me. I want to add a stereo/speakers. Would I need a 36v -12v reducer or is there one already installed running the lights?
Directly under the drivers seat I see a fuse group with one wire going in and 3 going out. I appreciate any help. |

Re: Do I need a 36v to 12v reducer
Welcome to BGW
I call this pic :Do I need a reducer?" You should use a reducer if you use the 12v accessory more than rarely. The 12v draw will cause a battery imbalance which will cause problems in the recharge cycle resulting in shortened battery service. |
