For safety you need put the rear end on jack stands when testing.

YES..YES..
Rule #1 put it on jack stands
Rule #2 have a fire extingusher close by
Rule #3 be ready to disconnect the ground cable, quickly!!!

Well Now It Seems To Have A Mind Of It's Own. One Time Fast Next Time Slow. Will Be Changing The Solenoid Next. Are We Talking About The One In The Control Box? The Dcs?

Make sure you check the throttle box. the pot could be bad, but I don't think so. More likely dirty linkage or micros.
