brush replacement
well i finally got around to taking that motor out of my 95 ez go it was a brush issue just as i suspected broken lead from a2 stud to brush. problem is i cant get armature apart from rear of motor housing tried using rubber mallet with no sucess does that have to be put on a press to seperate from bearing

are you gonna just put all new brushes in? can you do it with armature in? its been a few years but i think unless things really need cleaned you should be able to get brushes and studs in without taking armature out.......if its for cleaning issues a can of brake cleen and good compressor will clean the heck out of it.................i know its not the 100% professional way but if you can,t get it out with a mallet than you need be careful you don,t break that case end...........sometimes you just need to take a lot of tijme more than you want to work them off............................................... .....

yes shadowman i am going to replace brushes while i got it apart i tried taking brushes out after spraying it real well with contact clener brushes wont clear the housing wall brushes come out in a assembly held in by two screws

you have to forgive me again my head is up my arse......i,m thinking gas cart don,t know why but gas cart...very simple don,t even have to take motor apart..........sorry its been a long few weeks of some really stupid personal things but after this week things should start looking back up and i,ll get some sleep.............................
