Default Murphy strikes again-charger fried

Powerwise II failed as I was about to sell it. Tore apart and the power cord fried as well as relay board. Bought both relatively cheaply but still won't come on. Based on Lester's troubleshooting guide the electronic timer control is shot. Googling everything reveals that this module and the relay cost more than the charger is more expensive than the charger us worth. Can't find the board without the relay. Combo is around 200. Crazy. Anybody have any ideas or know what I am missing.

Checked out the link but may be a different one than I have. Mine is a Lester ezgo power wise II. The video looks like the first power wise. Not sure if the repair is labeled right or not. Just makes me wonder cause it includes diodes.

Been all over eBay with no luck. Thanks!

Yeah have contacted Scotty and waiting on response. Went throught the Lester trouble shooting and it pointed to timer. Bypassed board and charger worked. Have to dig in a little further cause it didn't reference the diodes. Not sure the charger as a hole is worth 180 so well see. Thanks again

Checked the diode per the troubleshooting guide. Checked out fine on the top but on the bottom had to wiggle a little to get the reading. Clipped it in a on different place and it it read correctly. So I am operating under the assumption it's okay. Gonna take a look at that kit you mentioned above. If it includes a timer board and not just relay guess it will be the way to go since it replaces all but the transformer.

Forgot to mention earlier it failed while charging. Just never shut off so I guess it overheated. Found one of the batteries had gone bad. So it prolly never got to the voltage it was looking for and kept pumping?

Thanks for the update.
Yes if bad battery kept charger working and timer never timed out...
Overheat possible..
Again thanks for keeping us posted!
good luck
