Default Medalist wiring help needed

Picked up a 95 Medalist and I have the batteries all charged up. I turn the key and when pedal is depressed I can hear a click. When in reverse the buzzer works and I hear a click...but no go. I checked connections everywhere and found these two wires cut and cant figure out where they go. On the other end one(white) is connected to the solenoid and one(black) is connected to the controller. See pics... Any idea if these wires could be my issue?

Those are the original wires from the charge receptacle. It looks like someone changed them out for some larger cables. Charging receptacle, at least the underseat portion, has been changed also. On my 95, the black and white wires in your pic were connected exactly like yours at the controller and solenoid. Those two wires are not your problem. I would unhook the connected ends however.

So where is the switch I need to check? Thanks for the help on the wires. I believe the go straight to the batteries now. Wonder if I should change it back?

No need to change it back as long as what is on there now is in good shape. The switch Crash is referring to is the switch on the throttle (ITS) under the floor mat behind (toward the seat) the throttle pedal enclosed in a black box.

OK, I know exactly where that is. Any way to test or just replace and see if that fixes it? I took apart a medalist and have this left over. Is it the piece you are referring too?

My computer skills suck or I would give you the link to your wiring diagram. Look in the stickers and go to the last one by Ruredy and the first diagram you see is yours minus the charger lockout wires.

I'm sure someone can put you on to service manual to check the switch and also the ITS module that is also in that box.

OK, thanks. I think the micro switch is only like 8 bucks so I will try that first. I found that diagram you mentioned. Thanks!
