Yes, eventually you should go back to golf cart batteries, but if you are satisfied with the range you are now getting and want to do some fixing up on the body, you might be able to put it off until you've done some other things to the cart.

The trick is to figure out what the cart is going to be used for and what you want the cart to do and build towards that goal.


What bothers me is that you say it takes a long time to charge the batteries and that charger ought to be charging the batteries you have fairly fast, so the charger, or the batteries, or possibly the wiring in the cart, needs some repair or replacement.

Sounds good. Will check ammeter after next charge and evaluate.batteries look to be from 2012.and looks like charger cable is frayed.plus you are correct.battery holders are rusted bad
