Default PDS Volt Meter Reset

Please refresh my memory on how to reset the volt meter on my PDS cart. I replaced the batteries today along with the Throttle wiring harness and now it is blinking back and forth between the lower 2 bars on the meter.

Cart is now being charged for the first time on the new batteries.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that one of less desirable features of that meter is it will automatically reset to full each time the charger kicks off.... wait and see.

I think you disconnect it from the pack, charge the new pack and then let them rest. After like 6 hours or so, hook it back up. I think..

Meter must see 2.35v per cell (42.3v for pack) for 6 continuous minutes during charging. If it doesn't reset during the first charge of new batteries, disconnect one of the meter wires ( I would pick the red wire on the pack main positive) then reconnect. It may take a couple of cycles to go back to normal operation.

I am assuming you have the curtis 906 meter usually installed by EZGO on carts equipped with SOC meters. 36v in this case.
