Default PDS motor wiring

My wife's dog decided he needed to chew on some wires underneath my cart. I now have a gray wire coming from my motor that has been pulled from wherever in the controller area. It has no plug or ends on it. The cart runs fine and if it matters I have a Alltrax.controller. seems like there was a wire that wasn't required after the controller swap years ago, is this it?

Thanks

Sounds like the speed sensor wire, which is not used with the Alltrax controller.
