Alltrax Dcx 400pds
Hi, I'm New To Carting.I Purchased A New ALLTRAX DCX 400PDS With The PDS Interface, For My 2006 Totally Stock EZ GO TXT PDS 36V Cart.I Received Manuals,Wiring Diagrams Etc.My Question Is How Does The Unit Itself Mount To The Cart? Will I Use The Four Existing Factory Holes That Currently Hold The Cover On? Thanks For Your Time.

Re: Alltrax Dcx 400pds
Yes. It will mount in the same place as the existing controller. Dependin on which controller you got - the stock cover may or may not fit back on.
Alltrax is VERY weather resistent though so I wouldn't worry too much. |

Re: Alltrax Dcx 400pds
Thanks BLUECHIP,The Unit Is Much Larger & Heavier Than I Imagined. It's Wider Than The Stock Controller Cover,So I Will More Than Likely Lose It.With The Economy In Decline I Was Able To Purchase A New DCX400PDS For Well Under $400. Just By Asking & The Company Programmed It To My Specs,Before Shipping It.Saving Me From Having To Do It.

Re: Alltrax Dcx 400pds
I just installed an alltrax 650 amp controller in my ezgo. It is 4 times larger that the stock one I just took out.
I took the plate that the controller mounts to out of the cart, removed the old controller and solenoid. laid my new controller on the plate, marked hole positions and drilled. I used 4 1/-20 bolts with aircraft nuts through bolted. I moved the bracket that the old solenoid was mounted on, moved it down 1 inch, fabricated 3/4 inch spacer blocks out of some scrap square tubing to stand it further off the controller and through bolted. |
