Default Txt series cart died, help!

I am new to carts and picked up a used ezgo txt series cart. Have been riding it around the neighborhood regularly with no trouble. Today, loaded the family on it, two adults, two kids and backed out of garage. When I put it in forward, nothing. Put it back in reverse, nothing. When I press the pedal I hear a clicking, beeps when in reverse, batteries seem fine. It's like a blew a fuse and it just shut down. I did smell a burning smell, but not strong and can't find any burned or melted connections.

Not sure where to start.

Tighten the center bolt if f/r switch. Maybe bad connection.

Nice and tight, no change. Thanks though.

What's the voltage on your pack? Also have you tested what your drop is on the pack?

It's a 36v. Since I'm not sure what the drop is, I have not.

Jack up the rear, just like you would test pack voltage hippo up your meter. Press the gas and see what voltage you get. If it's less than 36, your not going to go far. That's your drop. Did you take that pack reading?

That all seems fine, is there a fuse somewhere that I am missing?

No there is not a fuse but usually if you smell a burning smell you either melted the F&R switch or your series Controller finally died. If you look at the contacts on your F&R and they don't look melted or anything, then you should take the black cover off your controller and see if your controller itself looks melted. If it does look melted and it smells burnt then the controller is probably your issue.
