Default Taylor Dunn 370 series motor question

Been fixing up my TeeBird and it is running strong, but the resistor coils heat up way fast and way hot even running wide open. The bottem right side lowest post also gets smoking hot. It has no wire to it just a copper plate jumped to the next post above, That post does not heat up and also has no wire to it. So my questions would be: Anywhere I can get a wiring diagram? What do these 5 posts go to in the motor? I emailed TD website and no answer. I plan to sell this once I can do so with a clear conscience. Thanks
